Electric Cars
May I have your help please!!!!
I understand the benefits of electric cars and how they help the planet reduce our carbon footprint.
My question though please, could someone help me understand, or give me the key facts on what damage to the planet, the making of the batteries have, and how harmful the batteries could be when their life cycle has finished and they need to be disposed of. Is it a risk we face, or am I missing the point?
There must be (I think, and I am happy to be proved wrong with factual information) a carbon footprint in the making and disposing of these batteries that will become enormous as more and more electric vehicles or other battery powered electrical appliances/products are made. Is this a fair thought or not?
What effect do the making and disposing of these batteries have on our planet please, or is it a non-issue?
