It’s so easy to misunderstand what someone may be saying to us. We need to listen so carefully.
I’ve made some clangers in my time. Like when my Kiwi accent was misunderstood and someone gave me a “pin” instead of a “pen.” I was perplexed and so were they, until we both understood and burst out laughing.
