To be successful a business needs both a spiritual and business mission. When business’s gets too big, it forgets its mission, or if the mission it was created for, is no longer needed, then the business begins to die. The mission of a business should fill a need that the clients want, and if it fills that need, and fills it well, the business will prosper.
We can identify the mission of someone who is trying to sell us something for a commission, as contrasted to someone trying to help solve our needs.
Most businesses will never match what you may do with client relationships because they are forgetting their mission and not fulfilling the needs of their customers. If you continue to look at your spiritual and business mission in your area, people will say it is something that you do, and have always done. There will never be a variation away from what you started out to do because you are focused on the direction you have taken. People will then want to continue dealing with you because you have a very credible business.
To be successful you need to overcome your fear of being rejected, and to stop worrying what other people will say about you. How often have we not rung a recommendation just in case they say no and we feel rejected? Turn the thought around so your thought pattern is this:
“What you think of me is none of my business. What is most important is what I think about myself”
The boundaries of a person’s reality often do not change until that person forsakes what he/she feels comfortable with or confident in and goes blindly with faith.
Objections – Normalise them:
We listen ourselves into sales.
There is no sale without objections. Objections indicate interest.
Focus on what the client or customer needs.
Serve – find out the problem your client has
Solve – offer the best solution you have to fix that exact problem
Seed – explain why your business can fix the issue and use testimonials as social proof
Sell – now is the time to sell your solution
Three final thoughts:
Money is like manure – If you hoard it, it stinks. If you spread it, it will make things grow.
Life is a draughts board and the player opposite you is time. If you hesitate before moving, or neglect to move promptly, your draughts will be wiped off the board by time. You are playing against a partner who will not tolerate indecision.
Beware of those people trying to kill your dreams. Usually they are people who have given up on their own dreams.
